Adam is a lead Research Scientist at DuPont Performance Building Solutions, where his focus is on product innovation and new application development to accelerate widespread adoption of improved air sealing techniques. After spending 10 years as a chemist and material scientist developing new polyurethane elastomers, adhesives, and foams, Adam has worked for the past 6 years to apply a deep understanding of material design, combined with insights into current air sealing practices and building science, to deliver novel solutions in the air sealing product space. He likes to get in the field as often as possible, running field trials of new products, collecting feedback from builders on pain points of current construction materials and practices, and serving as a building envelope consultant, construction volunteer and crew lead for the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
