Torsten Glidden is the Technical Lead on US DOE’s Home Energy Score with Lindahl Reed, Inc. (a contractor supporting US DOE). Torsten heads up program-side efforts to maintain and develop the software user-interface, API and back-end database environments with representatives from NREL, PNNL and LBNL. He also supports Partner and Assessor participation in Home Energy Score from on-boarding and training, through program design and operations, data-analysis and quality assurance oversight. Torsten’s background includes over 20 years in green building, building rating/analysis, energy resource planning, energy modeling software development, demand response and energy efficiency program management/implementation. He has worked as a general building contractor and trained contractors and technical staff for participation in energy efficiency, demand response and green/asset labeling efforts. He holds a BA in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a certified BPI Building Analyst and Green Point Rater (Build It Green).
