Bathroom Modifications: Best Practices for Simple and Complex Solutions

Bathrooms are a major fall risk area as well present many barriers to use for persons with functional mobility challenges. Therapists often have difficulty deciding on the best recommendations to allow safe performance of basic ADL tasks. This presentation will provide a brief overview of evaluation strategies and clinical reasoning behind making home modifications recommendations for bathrooms. The presentation will also cover a range of solutions from simple to the most complex.
