The popular RED Calc tools have helped weatherization and home performance contractors for over ten years with practical calculations required in the field. Calculations include ventilation system sizing, airflow measurements, air leakage metrics, moisture metrics, basic and advanced home infiltration calculations, insulation R-values, and more.

The Department of Energy (DOE) has purchased the RED Calc software and will maintain it at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). The RED Calc Pro application is now rebranded as RED Calc and is freely available to all.

This session will provide a brief history of RED Calc, its current status, and the plans for its future. We will also give you the opportunity to ask questions about any of the RED Calc tools
