Non- Energy Benefits or NEBS exist in a parallel universe to weatherization. Health and safety are the most often cited NEBS. Evaluators and program designers do their best to quantify and assign a dollar value to NEBS- obviously, not an exact science.
Attempting to place a dollar value on NEBS may cause those involved in weatherization and energy efficiency in general to underestimate the good they do. This session will attempt to capture the good that our work generates. The audience will be encouraged to tell their own nebulous NEB stories.

Learning Objectives:

By attending this session, attendees will:

Understand how NEBS are typically calculated
Understand how being a good crew lead or team leader can encourage your crew or team outside of work
Under that even if a contractor chooses not to take part in your program, that there is a strong probability that you changed their minds and practices for the better. AKA the Wildenhaus effect
