Dr. James Harrington contributes to the development of environmental exposure research and other strategic areas of interest to Research Triangle Institute International’s Center for Analytical Sciences (AS). He has also led bioanalytical research projects in support of the National Toxicology Program (NTP) at NIEHS in the area of metallomics and inorganic speciation, and development of the pharmaceutical heavy metals testing program at RTI. His research focuses on analysis of lead in drinking water, the impact of toxic metals on human health, food and drug safety, and nanomaterial characterization.
