Kristen James

Occupational Therapist

Kristen James, MS OTR/L received her Master of Occupational Therapy from Howard University in Washington D.C. in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina (Columbia) in 2012. Kristen has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 7 years, and is passionate about working with the older adult population. Kristen currently works as the Occupational Therapist and Program Manager at the South Carolina Department on Aging with the Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP). As a Program Manager, Kristen has gained experience with grant management/training to the aging network, and has helped to promote the role of occupational therapy in home repair programs for older adults. As an Occupational Therapist under the OAHMP grant, she has provided over 100 seniors with low-cost high impact home modifications in the state of South Carolina.
