David Nuccio is a Program Environmental Clearance Office PECO with the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes working out of the Minneapolis Field office but covering the country. Starting this position September 2023. David previously was a Field Environmental Officer FEO with HUDs Office of Environment and Energy OEE for Minnesota and Wisconsin for the previous nine years. Prior to this position David spent four-years working as a construction analyst for HUD Multifamily Production Office in Milwaukee and two-years with the US Army Corps of Engineers in San Antonio, Texas as a senior construction representative. Served in the US Army Reserves for 24-years as an Army Engineer reaching the rank of both First Sergeant and Chief Warrant Officer. Late in his military career he was mobilized after 911 for over three years state-side preparing units to deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan and Seria. He then had a one year deployment to Jalalabad Afghanistan. David and his wife of thirty three-years have two children, and three grandchildren. Outside of work David enjoys kayaking, hiking, and cycling in the summer and downhill skiing and snow shoeing in the winter.
