David Pugh has worked at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) since October of 2002, first as an Inspector for the HOME Investment Partnerships Grant and Community Development Block Grant programs. In 2017, David was promoted to Lead Grant Manager to administer the Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant. Today, David oversees the agency’s Lead Hazard Reduction Program, provides critical support to the Healthy Homes Production grant, and coordinates all HOME/CDBG inspections, providing technical assistance on building codes, rehabilitation standards, and the lead safe housing rule.
After serving in the U.S. Army for four years, David enlisted into the Indiana Army National Guard in April of 2001 and is currently the First Sergeant of Bravo Company 113th Brigade Support Battalion. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the Indiana Institute of Technology.
