Blake Lajiness is an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), Science, Technology, and Policy Fellow in the Department of Energy's (DOE) Building Technologies Office. His work focuses on residential decarbonization modeling and analysis, helping enable key DOE stakeholders toward successfully decarbonizing the built environment. Blake sees value in having a close connection with DOE stakeholders, such as state energy offices, utilities, and analysts. Prior to DOE, he worked at Center for Energy and Environment, which is based in Minneapolis, MN. Blake has a B.S. in environmental studies and sustainability and B.A. in political science: public policy from Michigan State University. He is currently pursuing a M.S. in energy policy and climate from Johns Hopkins University.
