Simona is a registered architect, associate, and director of sustainable practice with MSR Design. She develops processes to integrate sustainable design seamlessly into the workflow of architectural practice. She specializes in low carbon and healthy building materials, high performance assemblies, and has experience with LEED v4 and Living Building Challenge Petal certified projects. Simona is a regular guest-lecturer at the University of Minnesota, and presents at regional and national conferences. She currently co-chairs the AIA Minnesota Committee on the Environment, and is a recipient of the National AIA 2023 Young Architects Award.
