Dominique Lueckenhoff, Senior VP for Corporate Affairs, EHS & Sustainability, Hugo Neu and CEO of Ecochar Environmental Solutions, LLC (EES), has over 25 years of experience in multi-media environmental program development and management. She is a national leader in green infrastructure, environmental equity/justice, and sustainable communities. She has coordinated, and co-conducted research and development related to the evaluation, use, preparation, and performance of biochars for the treatment of a variety of environmental pollutants. Dominique serves as a Senior Fellow for the US Water Alliance and previously managed multiple environmental programs during her career with USEPA. She has served as Special Assistant to the EPA Administrator for Science and Urban/Equity Issues and as a Senior Advisor to the EPA Region 3 Administrator, leading initiatives on community-based partnerships, next-gen technologies, and market-based approaches for environmental improvements. Additionally, she acted as the Director of EPA Region 3’s Superfund Division, and the Water Protection Division, where she served as permanent Deputy Water Director. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees as a National Science Foundation Fellow in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Biophysics, and is a U.S. Senior Executive Service (SES) certified graduate of the US Treasury Executive Institute and the US EPA SES Candidate Development Program.
