Healthy Homes Policy

We have been talking about healthy homes for several years now. One of the obvious challenges is being able to turn the idea into reality, which often gets done through policy. This session will explore various policies that have been put into place related to healthy homes, including some that have been around for a long time (e.g. lead, asbestos) and some that are more recent (e.g. Weatherization Readiness funds, HOMES and HEEHRA efficiency and electrification funds). The equity aspect of policy will also be featured in this session. There will be time set aside for a discussion of what YOU would need and/or like to see to make it easier for you to bring healthy homes into your work.
