We will review methods to measure and improve air tightness by reviewing and discussing two case studies. The first is from a southern climate (Virginia) where TEC and CHP teamed up to work on a house in Blacksburg, VA. The second is from a northern climate (Minnesota) where TEC and Seelen Advanced Weatherization teamed up to deliver improvement on a St. Paul home. These case studies will demonstrate key methods in diagnosing where leaks are coming from, options to address and fund the improvements, and ultimately how to complete the work and verify improvements.
